Deborah Ajijolajesu Shokoya who’s popularly known as Debbie Shokoya was on the news on Thursday, August 17, 2023, after making a long video of how she lost her unborn child(8-months) abroad on the verge of delivery.

In a lengthy video, Debbie Shokoya expressed pain and sorrow noting that she had to clear the air and that people should be cautious of bringing different narratives because the happening is sensitive.

She expressed the joy of motherhood believing that she was coming back with her child but fate happens and she lost it.

She noted that the video she did went she lost her pregnancy some months ago wasn’t a pity one and that she never planned it but it happened and she gave glory to God for her life journey so far. She said she is here alive sharing her testimony. Debbie noted that many mothers have died with their baby in their womb and many died after giving birth. She also used the opportunity to announced her new movie, “Irin Ayanmo” which was inspired by her pregnancy, noting that the trailer will be out soon.

Deborah said she has always wanted to shoot a movie with a baby bump and fans will see her baby bump in the movie when it comes. She thanked her beloved husband who she called her supporter and better half.
