Jackie Chan Marks 70th Birthday, Reacts To Concerns About His Health

Popular veteran stuntman and filmmaker, Jackie Chan has taken to his official social media platforms to celebrate his 70th birthday, as he reminisced about life while revealing information about his Health.

The filmmaker thanked his fans worldwide, noting that they often remind him of his birthday which was scheduled for Sunday, April 7, 2024.

He also said every time he heard that he was going to turn 70, his heart would stop for a second and after he recovered from the shock, he would remember what his big brother, Sammo Hung used to say, which was, “Being able to grow old is a fortunate thing”, especially for stunt people, adding that they don’t know how lucky they are to be able to grow old.

Revealing about his health, he said not so long ago, some friends saw his recent photos on the internet and were concerned about his health, assuring them that they shouldn’t worry that it was a character appearance for his latest movie as the character requires him to have a white hair, white beard and look old.

He also added that over the years, he was always willing to try new things no matter if it was a challenging stunt or a breakthrough appearance for a movie.

Jackie Chan affirmed that he has been in the entertainment industry for over 62 years and he cherishes every moment as he’s lucky to still be filming today.

He further added that his staff recently have been going through his photo archives and found so many memorable photos, adding that he has selected a few photos to post in relation to his message.

The international actor noted that looking at the photos brings him fond memories, adding that he loves making movies and loves his fans.
