Excitement As Actress, Stella Damasus Debuts In Hollywood Movie

Popular Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus made her Hollywood debut in the movie, Victoria. She announced this 3 days ago after sharing lovely scenes from the movie. The movie stars top Nollywood actor, Ninalowo Bolanle, and Hollywood stars like Camryn Lee and Michelle.

Stella’s caption reads, “Victoria the movie is coming soon. Written, produced, and directed by Martins Samuel. I’m so proud of this one. Can’t wait for you all to see this”.

This good news sparked reactions online as fans and celebrities dropped lovely remarks. Many can’t wait to watch her stellar performances in the Hollywood movie. A fan said, “I can’t see this. I miss your movies”. Another fan said, “You are always a delight to watch darling”.

Stella Damasus Relocates To The US With Her Ex-husband, Daniel Ademinokan In 2013

In 2013, veteran actress, Stella Damasus relocated to the US with Nollywood director, Daniel Ademinokan. Daniel was Doris Simeon’s ex-husband but later settled down with Stella. Stella and Daniel broke up a few years after relocating to the United States. But before then, they were spotted at the screening of the Hollywood movie, “When Is It enough”.

While in the US, Stella shoots her shot at Hollywood. She has always wanted to get into Hollywood but all her effort proved abortive. During her interview with Pulse TV in 2022(reported by the Independent News), she noted that she has gone to meet several agents and managers but they often tell her that they would love to work with her but she’s not the kind of African they are looking for.

She said they said she doesn’t have the skin color of an African and doesn’t have an American accent. Going further, she said as an African one was supposed to be as dark as the famous star, Lupita, and have an African accent but she’s not dark and doesn’t have the African accent to play an African role in a Hollywood movie.

In conclusion, Stella said most of the Nigerians who star in Hollywood movies are born and raised in England and have a British and American accent.
