Meet Actor, Deji Adenuga Wife: Ireland’s 1st Black Councilor

Yemi who’s well known as “Sharing with Yemi” on Instagram was born on the 15th of November 1971. She was bred in a town outside of Lagos. She’s the 16th of 27 children of a father with 7 wives.

Yemi completed her diploma in Business Studies in 2008, then obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business in 2010. Also, she bagged a postgraduate certificate in 2016 from University College Dublin. Adenuga further went for her Master’s In Business Administration at Liverpool John Moores University.

Before she moved with her husband and children to Ireland in 2000, she worked as a radio and Television broadcaster for 10 years. On getting to Ireland, she couldn’t find a media industry but found work in an accounting film.

Adenuga starred on popular reality TV show, Gogglebox Ireland for 4 years before running for political office.

After being active in the community of Navan for years, she declined an offer from Fine Gael, (a Christian-Democratic political party In Ireland), to get involved in politics. Yemi later accepted the offer and in 2019, emerged as the first elected black female public representative in Ireland and the first migrant councillor on the Meath County Council.

On March 6, 2022, she was listed as one of Ireland’s 100 women change makers.

Yemi and Deji have been married for 30 years and are blessed with children and grandchildren. Their children are very successful in their endeavors and have made them proud.

Yemi is very lucky to have Deji because he’s a very coolheaded, simple, and loving man. Also, Deji is very lucky to have Yemi because she’s a very intelligent, smart, and brilliant woman who has shaped the world, precisely Ireland with her knowledge.

On 16th April 2023, veteran actor, Deji Adenuga marks his 60th birthday. A birthday party was organized by his beautiful wife, Yemi Adenuga in Ireland, and close friends and loved ones were present to celebrate another milestone in his life.

In a video, Deji and his wife held the stage and displayed affection. Guests and close associates couldn’t help but gush over them.

The handsome actor noted that he will adore and cherish his wife till the end of his life, adding that she’s his babe.

His caption reads, “I will adore and cherish this powerful woman till the end of life. You are my babe”.

In another post, Deji was spotted showing off his wife. They both smiled at the camera and he said, “What can I say about this soul mate of mine? I just leave her in God’s hand. She deserves to be magnificently blessed”.
