Somadina Harrison Adinma who’s widely known as Somadina Adinma is a popular face in the movie industry. He started acting as a child actor in 2003 making his first appearance in the movie, Charge And Bill. His passion for acting made him get other job offers as he continued to pursue his dream while being consistent at it.
His groundbreaking role in Speak the Words in 2006 shot him into the limelight and earned him Best Child Performance at African Movie Academy Awards(AMAA).
According to his interview with The Sun News in early 2023, he noted that consistency has been his key to success and that if it isn’t working today, one should keep trying, and someday, one would be surprised at his or her level of achievement as things will start working out unbelievably.
Soma is unarguably one of the most successful young actors in Nollywood. He owns a mansion in Lagos and rides luxurious cars. He has indeed made his mother proud.

Soma was born May 8, 1999(age 24) in his hometown, Anambra State but grew up in Enugu State. He loves Enugu State just like his hometown.
After his primary and secondary school education, he proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree. Soma enrolled in NYSC(Youth Service Program) in 2017 and completed it in 2018 in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.
His acting career began in 2003 after he auditioned for a movie beside his house. He approached the movie director, telling him that he wants to act. Then the director followed him to his home to seek his mother’s permission.
His mother accepted his request and that was how his journey to Nollywood started. His mother became a happy woman when he started earning money from acting and even employed lesson teachers to balance the gap between his acting and education.
Adinma rose to fame starring in the movie, “Speak The Word ” and is also known for top movies like Netflix’s Yahoo+(2022), Ije Love(2022), and A Role He Played. Over the years, he has starred in over 100 movies, playing mostly romantic and love roles. Soma is one of the most sought-after actors in Nollywood and also a very successful young actor. Apart from acting, he’s an entrepreneur and the CEO of Smash Foots, an online shoe store.

In the case of Chisom Steve and Chinenye Nnebe, they have acted several romantic roles with him, though generating such speculations from fans. Soma dated Regina Daniels before she tied the knot with Delta State-born billionaire and politician, Ned Nwoko.
Soma and Regina hasn’t been best of friends for years since she left him for Ned Nwoko but the duo are on good terms now and dropped a movie together in February 2024 titled, “My First Love” which set tongues wagging plus she also celebrated him after he posted his child on Instagram on Thursday, February 15, 2023.
In excitement, Regina said, “Our baby has been revealed. Happy Birthday son”. Her statement means that she knew Soma has had his baby for a long time and has kept him away from the media and that shows they still have a good friendship.
